"Trolle, Fjorde und ein Postschiff"

During May a film team from the Germany visited Norway.  They were making a two episode TV program about Norway, for the 2nd. biggest TV channel in Germany, ZDF. The first part will be broadcasted the 3rd. of July at 20:15, and the 2nd. part the 10th of July at 20:15.

They were shooting film from our warehouse as well as in the nature close by.  The program will also be available at www.zdf.de one hour after the program.

Longtail Trolls

The Long Tail Troll website www.trolls.net is now updated with the new releases as well as the discontinued trolls for 2007.  The Long Tail Troll newsletter will be distributed to the Long Tail Troll Mailing list by the end of week 24. Distributors can read the newsletter in advance.

                          Marketing material

The main Ny Form Troll Catalogue as well as the Ny Form Troll folder is now updated with the new front page and includes the new releases for spring 2007. 

A shopping bag as well as a Ny Form Troll Calendar is now added to the Ny Form Troll Marketing material 

The Main Long Tail Troll Catalogue "The Long Tail Troll Family Gallery" is also updated with the new releases for 2007.  This catalogue will be available from mid. April 2007.

Catalogue update

The paper version of the distributor catalogue that was sent out during Christmas contains by mistake troll number 840298.  This troll will not be produced this year, so make a cross over this item in your catalogue.   There will also be some changes of the hair of troll number 840082 and 840084

Export  2007

Newsletter

A newsletter regarding 2007 was sent out to our wholesale distributors the 28th of December. The newsletter contains our updated export price list for 2007. If you are one of our wholesale distributors and didn't receive this newsletter, pls. let us know so we can send it to you.

Export catalogue

For 2007 we have made a catalogue for our most popular export products.  This catalogue was sent by regular mail to our wholesale distributors the 29th of December.  We have also a version of the catalogue our distributors can downloaded as a zipped pdf-file from our download area.

Minimum order requirements for our wholesale customers

For orders placed after December 31st. 2006 the minimum order size is NOK10.000.  For all our figurines the minimum order quantity (MOQ) is equal to the inner packing quantity, and for all other products the MOQ is equal to the outer packing.  These quantities are indicated in the price list as well as in the export catalogue. 

New releases for 2007

There are quite a lot of new products for 2007. There are many new Ny Form Trolls and Longtail Trolls this time.  If you like to order samples for your sales fairs/exhibitions, please order these as soon as possible. We have also added the porcelain brand Flora to our export catalogue.  This line has been a great sales success for us in Norway during 2006, and we believe the it could also do in other markets. All the new releases are published in our export catalogue.  If you need photos of any of our export products for you catalogue/marketing material, pls. contact Merete.

Longtail Trolls

Update on the Longtail Troll website (trolls.net)

The new spring releases of the Nyform Trolls are now updated in the Family Gallery at www.trolls.net.  In the Longtail Troll Family Gallery there is now a section with "discontinued Longtail Trolls".  By taking some models out of the assortment, we believe this will increase the collector's interest for this product line.

We are now receiving trolls from the new troll factory in Lithuania. Here you see how the new booklet that is attached to the Ny Form trolls looks like. 

We have now most of the trolls in stock again.  We will not update the out of stock list with the mark * any more.

Yesterday we received the 1st photos of the new releases for 2006.  Our goal is to be able to supply these trolls for the autumn fairs in August and September.  Among the news you will also find troll number 077, that was introduced in the fall 2005, but removed again due to the production stop last year.

Latex trolls update

Troll production:

The process of starting up the new company "Trolls of Norway" has started.   We still have a lot of trolls in stock, and we believe we will be able to supply the market with the existing stock until we receive new supplies from the new production in Lithuania. If we run out of stock of some models they will be marked with an * in the overview of all the trolls at www.trollsofnorway.com/nyform

New trolls for 2006

Since there is no production of troll at the moment there will unfortunately not appear any new Ny Form nor Fossetrolls for the spring fairs, except for the 2006 Club Troll (Click on the photo to the right for higher resolution).   The 2006 Club Pack will be available by the end of February.    The other new Nyform trolls for 2006 will arrive for the autumn fairs. 

Troll club magazine (autumn 2005)

The 2nd. issue of the club magazine has been sent out to all the members for 2005.  As an extra promotion for the troll club, this magazine was also distributed to previous members of the troll club.

Internet updates

The website www.trollsofnorway.com/nyform has been updated with a new graphical menu, photos of all the discontinued trolls and a Ny Form Troll Value Estimator. 

Production stop in Norway.  Production will be moved to Lithuania.

We are sorry to inform you that our supplier for the Latex trolls has been made bankrupt. As a consequence  of this all production activities of trolls at the factory in Tynset are stopped.

However we would like to point out that we have a lot of trolls in stock at our warehouse in Ler, and that we will be able to deliver trolls as usual for a long period of time. Our main focus is now to find solutions for production that will enable us to supply the marked for our traditional trolls also in the long run.

We will therefore advise you to carry on with sales and to order trolls as usual at our sales office in Ler.

This website will be used to keep you updated on the troll situation and the progress in resolving the production issues.

This troll will not become available before fall 2006.  Please remove it from your price lists.

The Longtail Troll Family gallery is now updated with the new releases for fall 2005.  Samples for distributors are now in stock.  We will have the main shipment in stock in October.

During the fall 2005 we will be focusing more on Nyform trolls as collector's items.  The coming newsletter to the Nyform troll mailing list, as well as the fall issue of the Nyform Troll Collector's Club Magazine will contain information about discontinued trolls.  We are at the moment updating the overview with all the trolls with pictures of discontinued trolls, so the collector's can find more information about their trolls.  We are also developing an online program for estimating the collector's value of the trolls.

The Longtail Troll Family Gallery is now available.  All the Longtail trolls produced so far is included in the catalogue, which you can find in the order form.

Trolls of Norway

1. An e-mail newsletter was sent out to the Nyform troll mailing list the 3rd of March introducing the club pack and the new models for 2005. If you didn't receive this e-mail, make sure you subscribe to the Nyform Troll e-mail newsletter, so you receive the same information as your customers.

 2.During March you should also have received a postal newsletter from Aud informing about new products, marketing material and where we request some feedback from the different markets.

Longtail Trolls

The 2005 spring releases in the Longtail Troll Family is now published at www.trolls.net  . These trolls will arrive our warehouse in the middle of April (week 15).  We are now working on updating the Longtail Troll Family Gallery (the catalog), as well as preparing more content to the Club's website.  When this work is done, we will send out an update to all the members of the Longtail Troll Collectors Club by e-mail. 

Nyform Trolls

You will now find the 2005 Nyfrom Troll releases on the Nyform Troll website.

The Club Pack will be ready during February 2005.  Recommended price in the retail store is 62 Euros (NOK 507,-)

We will have the new Longtail Troll Catalogues in stock early next week.

Fossetroll

During 2005 the Fosse trolls will come with an updated booklet in "Trolls of Norway"-style.

New trolls for Nyform Trolls, Fosse trolls, Longtail Trolls and Tytte trolls are being developed, and should be available early next year.  We are continuously developing new troll models, and ideas for new trolls are always welcome. 

Elgar

The website about Elgar: http://www.elgar.no  is now updated, and Elgar has got is own fan club (The member's area), where he is performing crazy stunts!

The NyForm Troll Collectors Club magazine is now printed and it will be sent out by mail to the registered members of the troll club in 2004 during November.  Marit has now started to prepare the 1st. magazine for 2005.  If you have ideas about content to this magazine (ideas, pictures, troll related stuff in your country), please let her know at marit@flaaronning.no

Limited edition of the 2004 Ny Form Club Packs

The limited production quantity of the Ny Form Club Troll for 2004 is 2000 pc.  Now today we have sold 1800 pcs of this troll (including orders for this fall) and when the last 200 pcs. are sold, this item will be unavailable.  

Tytter

We have changed the name "Forest Trolls" to "Tytter".  This troll family will now be delivered with lingonberries (Tytte-berries in Norwegian) instead of flowers. We have developed a new product-folder for this troll family, is available on the order from .

Longtail Troll Collector's Club Newsletter

The Longtail Troll Collector's Club Newsletter # 1_2004 is now available online.  Like we mentioned in the  news posted February 28th. there are some changes in the Longtail Troll Collectors Club from 2003.  In 2004 the club troll comes without a club pack, but it includes a tag (large file) with information on how to register to the club.  (In the future all the Longtail Trolls will come with tags which includes the individual story for the troll as well as club information).  The membership is free, because we distribute all the information online  (like the online newsletter instead of the Club Magazine).  The subscribers of the newsletter will be converted to club members. During summer 2004 we will also develop a members area at http://www.trolls.net.  The 2004 Longtail Club Troll, Bergljot, is now available in stock.  This is a limited edition troll which includes a serial number under the base of the troll. 

Fossetroll, Delivery status, fact sheet

From January 2004 we have been the global distributor for the Fossetrolls.  Unfortunately it has taken some time to build up the complete stock of this troll family, but now we are able to supply the complete line. For some more information about Fossetroll, a fact sheet is now available.  

Certificate of Membership

When we receive registrations to the Ny Form Troll Collectors Club when the collectors send in the registration card part one or register online, we send out a certificate of membership and a welcome letter to the Ny Form Troll Collectors Club.

Improved online registration system

We have updated the online registration  system for the Ny Form Troll Collectors Club in order to improved the quality of the addresses in the club register.  Please check if the online registration to make sure the address form  is ok according to the addressing standards for your country. Information letter

These days we are sending out  an information letter by regular mail to the existing club members, to let them know that the Ny Form troll club is up and running again. 

Ny Form Newsletter # 2_2004

NyForm e-mail Newsletter #2_2004 was sent out to the members of the Newsletter-list the 14th of April. If you didn't receive this newsletter, we recommend that you subscribe to it in order to receive the same information as the list members. 

Online registration system for the Ny Form Troll Collectors Club

We have updated the registration system with an option for registering online, instead of sending in registration card part one.  The online registration is explained in the welcome letter in the club pack, which also includes a unique activation code.  Club pack sent out after April 10th will have this option.

An update for the Longtail Troll Catalogue is now available.  The update includes new releases for fall 2003 and spring 2004 (The trolls Olvar, Eline, Amund, Are, Sturla, Bjarne, Klara, Karoline & Arnt, Mathilde and Bergljot (the 2004 limited edition club troll). The update can be ordered online for free.

Trolls Of Norway

Since January 1st. 2004 Brødrene Flaarønning AS is the global distributor for both of the troll families Ny Form Trolls and Fosse Trolls.  Both product lines are now produced at the same factory in Tynset in Norway.  The look of the two product lines will remain different, but they have also common elements that we would like to focus on in the marketing:

* Original Norwegian Design

* Handmade in Norway

* Unbreakable trolls made of natural materials

* Valuable international collectors item.   

All the marketing material we make in the future will include the "Trolls of Norway" trademark.

Marketing material can now be ordered online by using the online Order Form.  Here you will also see the availability of the marketing material.  Distributors can order marketing material for a value equal to 0.5% of the annual purchase in 2003 for free.

The Ny Form Troll Collectors Club

The Club Pack for the Ny Form Troll Collectors Club will be available around the 15th of March. The club pack will contain the 2004 club troll, the Spring issue of the Club magazine, the new Ny Form Troll Catalog, registration cards and a welcome letter.  As soon as the club pack is ready, we will send out a information letter to all the previous club members and inform them about the club pack.

The Longtail Troll Collectors Club

Since the number of members in this club is too small, we will change the club concept from 2003.  In 2004 there will only be a club troll with a tag with club information (and no club pack with club magazine).  Membership in the club is free, and all the information will be distributed on the Internet through www.trolls.net in English.
